Cirque du Soleil

KidRated’s Cirque du Soleil Amaluna Top Tips:

  • Don’t try these stunts at home!
  • For other acrobatic and exciting live performances, check out Zippos Circus & Cirque Berserk
  • If you’re from the North West, you can also see Cirque du Soleil in Manchester

Cirque du Soleil is back in London for another jaw-dropping, incredible show at the Royal Albert Hall from January 2017.

The show, Amaluna, will tell the story of a mysterious island ruled by goddesses. After directing her daughter’s coming of age ceremony, honouring femininity, renewal, rebirth and balance, Queen Prospera causes a storm.  A group of  young men wash up on the isle, triggering an epic love story between Prospera’s daughter and a brave young suitor. Theirs is a love that will be tested.

So far, so sort of Shakespeare… however, Cirque du Soleil is show like no other. Expect terrifying stunts, gorgeous costumes and unbelievable acrobatics. One performance even takes place in a huge bowl of water!

Located at the Royal Albert Hall, Amaluna is perfect for people who love the circus but want something even more spectacular.
