Do all the experiences at VRXtra use a VR headset?
Yep! Every adventure at VRXtra involves popping on a headset and diving into jaw-dropping virtual worlds. Whether you’re saving the world or flipping burgers in space, it’s all fully immersive fun.
Can I wear glasses with the headset?
Totally. Most regular glasses fit snugly under the headsets, so no need to swap them out or squint your way through a zombie apocalypse.
What ages is VRXtra best for?
It’s brilliant for kids aged 7 and up. Different games come with different age ratings, but the staff are great at helping you pick age-appropriate options for your crew.
Never done VR before – will we get help?
Absolutely. You’ll get a friendly tutorial before you start, and the team are always nearby to lend a hand (or a headset adjustment).
Do we need to book in advance?
Walk-ins are welcome, but we highly recommend booking online to avoid any “oh no it’s fully booked” dramas, especially on weekends or in school holidays.
What should we wear?
Dress for comfort and movement. Flat shoes are ideal, and best leave the hats at home – they don’t mix well with headsets.
Will we be bumping into strangers?
Nope. While some games are multiplayer, there’s no physical contact. Everyone’s got their own space to move, explore, and flail their arms in peace.
Can I leave the kids and nip off for a coffee?
Sorry, no solo players under 11 – a grown-up needs to stay on-site. But honestly, why not join in? If not, there’s a seating area where you can chill and watch the action on screen.
Do they do birthday parties?
They sure do! VRXtra’s party packages are perfect for ages 7+ and come with loads of options for all group sizes. Want to add pizza and popcorn from Curzon Pizzeria? They’ve got that covered too, just bring the cake (and maybe some earplugs for the sugar high).
