About Mundo Pixar Experience London

If your house runs on Pixar quotes, this is for you.

Mundo Pixar is a walk-through immersive exhibition where families step inside life-size sets from 10 beloved films. You’ll stand outside Carl’s house from Up, sit in giant furniture in Toy Story, peek through monster doors at Monsters, Inc. and cross the glowing bridge from Coco.

Each room features film trivia, hidden details and suggested photo spots. It’s colourful, nostalgic and beautifully made.

This isn’t a ride or escape room – it’s a cinematic walkthrough built for photos and Pixar fans.

Top tip from the KidRated Team:

Once you enter, let the crowd move ahead. The next rooms are often quieter, which means better photos.

Set a gift shop budget before you go.

Quick Inspiration

Is Mundo Pixar good for young kids?

Yes – especially if they already know the films. Younger children love the Toy Story, Nemo and Monsters, Inc. rooms where everything feels larger than life. There’s nothing scary, although some spaces are a little dark. Toddlers will enjoy the colours and characters; school-age kids get more from spotting details and trivia.

How long does it take?

Around 45–60 minutes. You move through the rooms in order and can’t go back, so take your time. No one rushes you, but it’s unlikely to fill half a day.

Is it interactive?

It’s immersive but mostly photo-led. You can sit on some furniture, step into Buzz Lightyear’s box and pose on the Vespa in Luca, but there aren’t games, actors or challenges. Think “walk-through film set” rather than theme park ride.

Is it scary?

No. Some rooms are darker and there are sound effects, but there are no strobe lights. There are warnings for anyone with photosensitivity, and a sensory-friendly zone if things feel overwhelming.

Can we take photos inside?

Yes – absolutely. In fact, it’s designed for it. Look for the camera icons on the floor showing the best angles. Staff are happy to take group photos too.

Do we need to book?

Strongly recommended. Peak times (especially half-term) sell out. You’re given a timed entry slot and should arrive at least 10 minutes early.
Tickets can usually be exchanged up to 48 hours before your visit (check terms when booking).

Is it accessible for wheelchairs or buggies?

Yes. The entire experience is step-free and wheelchair accessible. Buggies must be stored in the designated area before you begin the walkthrough.

Is there food or a café on-site?

No café inside. There are toilets at the entrance/exit, but nothing once you begin the experience. Wembley Park has loads of restaurants nearby, so it’s easy to combine with lunch or dessert after.

Is it good for grandparents?

Surprisingly, yes. Pixar spans generations. Expect a lot of “Oh I love this one!” moments. It’s an easy, flat walk-through experience without physical challenges, which makes it accessible for multi-generational visits.

What else is nearby?

You’re right by Wembley Stadium and Boxpark, plus Bubble Planet is just around the corner if you want to double up on immersive fun. Plenty of family-friendly restaurants nearby too.

The Honest Bit (Because We’re Parents Too)

It’s beautifully done and very feel-good. But it is on the pricier side for an experience that lasts about an hour and isn’t hugely interactive. If your family loves Pixar, you’ll feel the magic. If you’re expecting rides or hands-on activities, adjust expectations before you go.
Would I go?
If you’ve got a Pixar fan in the house – absolutely. Just plan it as part of a Wembley day out rather than a full-day attraction.
