Twickenham Stadium

KidRated Twickenham Stadium Top Tips:

  • There to watch a match? Wrap up warm.
  • Food is available  but can be pricey.
  • Book a family tour and explore the World Rugby Museum. Under 5s go free, and it’s a great shout for a rainy day or to escape a screens-and-sulking Sunday.

What age group is this best for?
Ages 6+, especially great for sporty kids and rugby-loving grandparents and teens.

Is Twickenham Stadium family-friendly?
Yes, families are welcome. Anyone under 15 needs to be accopanied by an adult. Kids under 2 don’t need a ticket if you’ve got them in a front carrier – but buggies and prams are a no-go inside the stadium itself.

Are there baby-changing facilities?
Sadly not at the moment. Yep, we’re giving that a yellow card too.

Do they cater for different diets and an we bring snacks for the kids?
Yes! Dietary needs can be accommodated – just let them know in advance. Veggie, plant-based and gluten-free options are also available. Feel free to bring snacks too.

Is it accessible for wheelchairs or buggies?
Wheelchairs – yes. Buggies – nope. Time to get those steps in with a sling or carrier.

Are there family tours?
Yes! They’re behind-the-scenes, fun and include access to the World Rugby Museum. Under 5s go free with an adult.

Is there parking?
Yes – and it’s free for people doing the tour or museum visit. Just don’t bank on it during match days.

What are the stadium’s opening hours?
Closed Mondays (except school holidays) and not open the day before or on an event day. Also closed on major holidays like Easter Sunday, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Are there cloakroom or luggage facilities?
Nope. Leave the kitchen sink at home – they might check your bag on arrival.

What’s the dress code?
Smart casual is fine, team shirts welcome. Just maybe skip the muddy boots.

Is smoking allowed?
Nope – that includes vapes. If you need a puff, step outside the stadium.
