Known as Playstation Skate Park before Xbox sponsorships, Bay Sixty6 is an epic undercover skate park in Ladbroke Grove. Encompassing a spacious area of land, it includes challenges from street-style ledges to ski jump style gaps and a large bowl. There is also a beginners section for first-time skaters, meaning all are welcome to practise or show off their skating skills here at Bay Sixty6!
The park hosts a range of facilities. Lockers are available for any valuables. Snack vending machines and a seating area are provided for those who just want to come and watch. For super-keen skaters, there is even a skate shop to browse. You can’t go wrong with this spot any day of the year.
Do your kids fancy taking up skating a regular hobby? If yes, the park runs an after-school club during term times, with subsidised prices – see website for details. Those who enjoyed Bay Sixty6 should also check out the Southbank Skate Park, which Emily talks about in her review of the Southbank.
According to Miss Vogue, this is one of Brooklyn Beckham’s favourite places to hang out in London.
Bay Sixty6 is a great hub for teenagers. Love it there. Would probably say it’s more on the young teen side but I recommend checking it out yourself to see if it’s your vibe.
Our son has learned how to skateboard at BaySixty6. The whole team is great but I want to have a special shout out for Guy. He is the best and kindest teacher. Guy is amazing with children making them feel safe and secure while building their confidence. Our son looks up to him and we were very impressed how he set himself a goal and went for it. Guy really cares about our son and his development and improvement. He provided exercises to do outside the skate park to further enhance the learning and development.
Guy has excellent communications skills, is very organised and extremely helpful when scheduling and booking classes. Top notch customer service.
