Legoland Windsor

KidRated’s LegoLand Windsor Top Tips:

  • Best for kids & teens: The LegoLand Driving School and the Dragon are firm favourites
  • Best for parents: The kids will be entertained all day
  • Top tip: Sunny day? We’d still recommend a jacket for the water rides!

Just a short trip from central London, LegoLand Windsor is a paradise for children and teens who love Lego and adventure.

Kids will be amazed by the incredible Lego models in Miniland, featuring over 80 million Lego bricks. From famous landmarks to intricate scenes, the models will spark their imagination. The park is divided into different themed areas, each offering a unique experience and plenty of rides and attractions.

One of the highlights for kids is the Dragon rollercoaster in Knight’s Kingdom, where they can embark on a medieval adventure. Younger children will love Duplo Valley, with its splash-tastic water play areas and gentle rides designed just for them.

The whole family can enjoy the live shows and 4D movies, which add an extra layer of excitement to your visit. Kids can also take part in Lego-building workshops, where they can learn new building techniques and let their creativity run wild.

Legoland Windsor offers plenty of dining options and picnic areas, so you can take a break and refuel before continuing the adventure. There are also numerous shops where kids can pick up their favourite Lego sets as a souvenir.

With its mix of thrilling rides, creative activities, and impressive Lego models, Legoland Windsor is a must-visit for families. Live outside of London, or fancy venturing out? Why not check out Legoland Discovery Centre in Manchester?

Booking Advice:

  • Measure your kids before you go – children under 90cm go FREE and there are height restrictions on rides
  • Save more by buying earlier
  • Why not combine with a trip to Windsor Castle?

  • Know which rides your kids can go on (height and age restrictions) and which they want to try and then prioritise.
  • Arrive early and head to the back of the park first as those rides won’t have queues yet.
  • If you can handle staying the whole day the rides do have shorter queues in the last hour before closing.
  • When you need a break from rides there’s a good outdoor pirate play area for the kids to climb and for you to sit down.
  • If you go on a wet ride and get completely soaked you can use the stand-up air dryers.
  • Be aware there’s very limited 3G signal and no wifi.
