Amazing day out. I went with my son,12, another Mum and son and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! We literally spent all day there and ate in the restaurant (really good varied menu, reasonable prices). You really feel as if you are on set and there are some great green screen photo opportunities. Not the cheapest day in the round but one of the best and most memorable. Would highly recommend
What a place! I thought I'd heard everything there was to hear about this as so many friends had taken their children - but I was completely unprepared for how brilliant it was. Took our 5 and 7 year old boys and spent an incredible 6 hours there and we all loved every single second. Well worth the money and a very definite 10/10, magical!
Brilliant day out! Loved it.
We took our 8 year old son for his birthday with 3 friends of the same age , they absolutely loved it, as did the elders. Plenty of interactive exhibits to bring the filming alive and great to see so many well known sets up close. This would suit children ( and adults ) of all ages who are old enough to see the films and appreciate the detail and effort in every scene. Easy to find , park and explore , took around 3 hours and great fun . Would definitely consider a return visit in a few years time once the kids are older and can appreciate the more technical aspects. Only down side is the cost and expensive gift shop ( especially the wands ! ) Fabulous day out 10/10 !
Have your say!

About the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour
Whether your kids are hardcore Potterheads, just starting their Hogwarts journey, or simply love a little movie magic, the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour is a family day out that exceeds expectations for all ages. Walk in the footsteps of Harry, Ron, and Hermione as you explore the actual sets used in the films—from the majestic Great Hall and bustling Diagon Alley to the mysterious Forbidden Forest and the awe-inspiring Gringotts Wizarding Bank.
Marvel at iconic props (say “hi” to the Nimbus 2000!), immersive green screen experiences, and spellbinding special effects that reveal the secrets of the Wizarding World. Kids will love posing with the Hogwarts Express on Platform 9¾ and pushing a trolley through the magical wall. Don’t skip the jaw-dropping Hogwarts Castle model, and keep your eyes peeled for Privet Drive and other instantly recognisable sets.
The tour is entirely self-guided—linger over Dumbledore’s office, sip a foamy Butterbeer at the Backlot Café, or try out wand choreography at your own pace. Special events (like “Hogwarts in the Snow” at Christmas and Halloween celebrations) mean there’s always something new and magical to discover.
With interactive exhibits, engaging staff, and a Studio Shop stocked with wands, robes, and treats, every visit is unique and memory-making.

Absolutely! Dress up for the occasion. Bring your Hogwarts robes or favourite house scarf for extra fun and the best photo ops throughout the tour—plenty of fans do. Costume photos make for unforgettable memories.

The magic is for everyone, but kids aged 5+ tend to get the most out of the experience. Buggies and prams are welcome, though some areas can feel crowded.
You’re welcome to bring snacks, and there’s a picnic area outdoors. Onsite cafés—including the Backlot Café where you can try Butterbeer—offer plenty of choices, but queues can be long, so snack planning is wise.
Yes, the Studio Tour is fully accessible for wheelchair users and families with prams. Expect step-free access and accessible facilities throughout.
Most of the tour is family-friendly, but areas like the Forbidden Forest or Death Eater displays can be spooky for sensitive kids. These sections can be skipped if desired.
Yes—there’s a huge Studio Shop and a special Platform 9¾ kiosk, both brilliantly stocked with wands, robes, and treats. Set a budget for kids, as the temptation is real!
