About the O2

The O2 isn’t just for concerts and comedy, it’s a massive indoor playground packed with family-friendly fun. Little ones can jump into soft play at Oxygen ActivePlay, while older kids tackle Clip ‘n Climb, iFLY indoor skydiving, or even climb over the roof (safely harnessed, of course). Teens can hang out at TOCA Social, shop the ICON Outlet, or catch a blockbuster at Cineworld. Parents and grandparents can take in a show, browse, or book into Mamma Mia! The Party for a dinner-disco extravaganza. With food for all tastes, wide buggy-friendly spaces and everything under one roof, it’s a brilliant all-weather option that really earns its spot on the family day-out shortlist.

Top tip from the KidRated team:

Book your soft play or skydiving sessions in advance – they fill up fast, especially on weekends and rainy days. And if climbing the roof sounds too much? The IFS Cloud Cable Car next door gives you amazing views without breaking a sweat.

What’s there to do for families inside – anything we should look out for?

Loads! Up at The O2 (roof walk) is a standout for adventurous teens. For little ones, Oxygen ActivePlay includes trampolines, airbags & soft play (ages 0–5). There’s Clip ‘n Climb, Hollywood Bowl, TOCA Social, Cineworld, iFLY indoor skydiving, and pop-up expos like Selfie Factory in the mix.

What age group is the O2 best for?

All ages covered. Toddlers adore the soft play and wide spaces; school-kids love games, climbing, and cinema; teens will geek out over the roof walk, iFLY, and food-hangouts.

What’s the best thing for teens?

Roof climb wins for thrill and brag potential. iFLY skydiving is next-level, and TOCA Social plus outlet shopping keeps them buzzing and independent.

Where’s the best place to eat?

Teens lean towards Five Guys. Families love Franco Manca for pizza, Wagamama for noodles, and Byron or Nando’s for fuss-free meals. Loads of choice to suit all appetites.

Can I let older kids explore alone?

Yes, it’s a secure, well-signposted dome with good signal. Set a meet-up point and let them roam freely.

Is the O2 good for a rainy day?

Perfect! Everything’s under one roof – no umbrellas required, and all the fun is indoors.

How do we get there?

Tube it to North Greenwich on Jubilee line, ride the Uber Boat Clipper, or take the IFS Cloud Cable Car next door for extra thrill.

What else is nearby for families?

Stroll the Greenwich Peninsula, check out public art, or head to Cutty Sark, Greenwich Park, or the Royal Observatory – all a quick bus or boat ride away.
