About Queen’s Park

Queen’s Park in Brent is a proper local gem – calm, cute, and packed with family-friendly fun. The playground is brilliant, with climbing frames, sand pits, splash play (in summer), and space to zoom around on scooters. Kids under 10 especially love the on-site animal farm where you can say hello to goats, chickens and bunnies – all for free.

There’s a woodland walk for nature-loving explorers, tennis courts for sporty types, and loads of grass for flopping, picnicking, or cartwheeling competitions. The café does great coffee, cakes, and babyccinos – plus there’s outdoor seating so you can relax while the kids burn off energy.

It’s buggy-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and lovely for neurodiverse families who prefer a more chilled vibe. Add in the brilliant Sunday farmers’ market and you’ve got the perfect low-key day out in NW London.

Top tip from the KidRated Team:

Bring a change of clothes – between the sandpit, splash zone and animal pats, someone’s bound to get messy!
