We asked Millie and Coco, two of our trusted K-Raters, to share their favourite teen shops in London, both in-store and online – the places teens actually want to go, not the ones we think they should.

From fashion and trainers to snack stops and must-have beauty items, this updated list reflects what’s trending right now. Whether you’re shopping with tweens, older teens or flying solo on their behalf, these London shops are far more likely to spark excitement than eye-rolls. And boys – we haven’t forgotten you. Best Clothing Shops for Teens in London

Pull & Bear (Oxford Street & Westfield)

Pull & Bear Store, United Kingdom

What is it?
Affordable trend-led fashion. Spanish owned.

Why teens love it
Cheap enough to experiment without regret.

Parent reality check
Great prices, but don’t expect it to last forever.

Millie says “I think that the Pull & Bear shop was very spacious and easy to shop but they could do with some smaller sizes. They had a great mix of going out tops and casual loungewear, which was very good quality and up to date in terms of the style.”

Urban Outfitters (Oxford St, Westfield Stratford & Spitalfields)

Teens posing outside an Urban Outfitters store

What is it?
Clothes + vinyl + random cool stuff.
Clothes can be on the expensive side, but the sales are generally good.

Why teens love it
Feels like a lifestyle, not just a shop.

Parent reality check
Easy to spend a lot very quickly on things nobody strictly needs.

Millie says “Urban Outfitters always have up to date trending items and have clothes for all styles. They also sell accessories and vinyl. This shop is aimed more at older teenagers as they often don’t have smaller sizes of items in stock. They have a great range of options for both genders and all styles. Urban is one of my favourite shops as they sell especially good jackets, jeans and hoodies.

Zara (Oxford Street / Westfield / Nationwide)

Teen clothing available to purchase at Zara UK

What is it?
Trend-led fashion that moves fast – very fast.

Why teens love it
Feels more “fashion” than most high street shops.

Parent reality check
You’ll be back in two months because trends move on.

Millie says “Personally I don’t usually like the style of clothing in Zara however they had a good range of sizes and a lot of tops that can be dressed up as well as some very nice jackets for older kids and teens/young adults. The shop was also not too busy and neither were the changing rooms.

Bershka (Oxford Street / Westfield)

What is it?
Trend-led high street fashion with a strong streetwear edge.

Why teens love it
It’s very now – fast-moving styles that mirror what they’re seeing online.

Parent reality check
Affordable, but very trend-driven – expect short lifespans.

Millie says “Bershka had a lot of options for older children and teens and had a good range of sizes. They had a variety of all styles of jeans which felt very good quality but were reasonably priced compared to other shops. However, the queue for the changing rooms was very long as the shop was busy and crowded.

Brandy Melville (Covent Garden / Carnaby St / Kings Road / Hampstead)

East London’s Brandy Melville store

What is it?
Minimal, Instagram-core fashion heaven.

Why teens love it
It’s basically a uniform for Gen Z right now.

Parent reality check
Sizing is one size only. You’ve been warned.

Millie says “Brandy only does one sized clothing, but they did have a lot of stock, and the changing rooms were well organised. It is one of my favourite shops as they always stay up to date on trending clothes and have great options for loungewear and tops which can be dressed up or dressed down. Their jewellery section was also very large and varied, as were there other accessories.

Hollister (Soho / Stratford / Regent St.)

Sophie Smith. The Industry.

What is it?
California-inspired casual wear – hoodies, denim, laid-back basics with a slightly glossy finish.

Why teens love it
It’s comfy, familiar and still has that “cool but safe” vibe.

Parent reality check
Not the cheapest and a lot of it looks… quite similar.

Millie says: “Hollister had a lot in stock, a good range of sizes and there was not much of a queue to enter the changing rooms. They keep up with the latest trends and always have a lot of options for tops and jeans. I find even in winter a lot of there items are still more for summer however the do always have a wide range of hoodies and knitted sweaters in.”

H&M

What is it?
Fast fashion giant with everything from basics to trend-led pieces.

Why teens love it
Cheap, constantly changing, and easy to grab a whole outfit in one go.

Parent reality check
Great for price, less great for longevity.

Millie says “I think although they have options of clothing for all ages, most of their kids clothes were aimed at younger children and they didn’t have a lot for teens. Although their items can be out of fashion, they always have a good range of sizes in stock and are reasonably priced. They also had a lot of affordable jewellery in store which was very good as they don’t usually have much in stock on their website.”

New Look (Oxford Street / Nationwide)

New Look Insta post

What is it?
Affordable high street fashion with a mix of basics and trend pieces.

Why teens love it
Budget-friendly and easy to dip in and out of.

Parent reality check
Quality can be hit and miss – but the prices soften the blow.

Millie says “I didn’t purchase anything from New Look as I found that their clothes were very out of trend and they didn’t have a great range of sizes but they did have a few casual and essential basics such as plain T-shirts. I can see it being good for younger children though as that side of the store seemed much more stocked up.”

Teenage girls stood outside the Globe Theatre

Subdued (Covent Garden, Carnaby Street, Stratford)

Subdued clothing store in Covent Garden

What is it?
Soft, minimalist basics – very low-key, very “effortless”.

Why teens love it
It’s understated but very on-trend right now.

Parent reality check
Sizing runs small and styles are quite… samey.

Millie says: “The subdued store I went to in Covent Garden was very stocked up and had all sizes. They are one of my favourite shops as they are always very on trend with their clothing. They have all types of clothes from casual tops, hoodies and joggers too sparkly tops and jeans. I think subdued is slightly more aimed at casual-wear however do still have a good range of party/going out tops and summer tops. However, their changing rooms were very small and had a long queue. The shop its self was also very small for the amount of customers in there.

Best Trainer & Streetwear Shops

Supreme (Soho)

Supreme store branding.

What is it?
Streetwear brand turned cultural phenomenon – drops, queues, hype.

Why teens love it
It’s about status as much as style.

Parent reality check
Eye-wateringly expensive for what is essentially… a hoodie.

Millie says:Supreme does a wide range of items from accessories and bags to t shirts and hoodies. Despite their items being expensive, the quality is extremely good and their designs are very unique and on trend, especially on their t shirts. I think they should sell some smaller sizes as the shop felt aimed more towards young adults.

Represent (Soho)

Represent clothing rail

What is it?
UK streetwear brand with a more premium, polished edge.

Why teens love it
Feels grown-up and “aspirational” without being boring.

Parent reality check
You’ll definitely notice it at the till.

Millie says: Represent had a good range of clothes and had the majority of sizes in stock on most of their items. I think they are one of the best shops for simple t shirts and hoodies. They also had an amazing collection of shoes and great quality jeans. Their shop felt mostly focused on menswear and they didn’t have much on offer for children.

Nike Town London (Oxford Circus)

Nike Air Force 1

What is it?
Huge flagship store.

Why teens love it
Feels like an experience, not just shopping.

Parent reality check
It’s an experience… with flagship-level prices to match.

Millie says “The Nike store I went to was quite empty and low on stock. They didn’t have many options on clothing or shoes especially for children. However this meant that the shop wasn’t too busy and I was able to try on multiple items. They also had a great amount of new and trending shoes.

Size? (Carnaby/Soho)

What is it?
Curated sneaker store with more niche and limited styles.

Why teens love it
Feels more exclusive and less mainstream.

Parent reality check
Cool factor comes with a noticeable price bump.

Footlocker (various)

A cool teen ft neon light for Foot Locker campaign

What is it?
Global trainer and sportswear retailer.

Why teens love it
Big brands, fresh drops and instant gratification.

Parent reality check
Trainers are the gateway – then come the extras.

Coco says: “Foot Locker is very good for most sports brands or shoes including Nike, Adidas, Puma and many more. It is often very busy and overcrowded – they could definitely employ more staff.

teenage girl and boy watching TV

Dr. Martens (Camden / Covent Garden / Oxford Street)

What is it?
Iconic British footwear brand known for boots and chunky shoes.

Why teens love it
They’re durable, expressive and properly “statement”.

Parent reality check
Pricey upfront – but they do last.

Coco says: “The Dr. Marten black boots are iconic, I love the style so much. Their sizing could be more accurate though, they always seem to be a bit too big.

Koko Art (Camden / Online)

Hand painted shoes availiable from Koko Art

What is it?
Hand-painted shoes customised by a team of artists, each bringing their own style – from bold graphics to more intricate designs.

Why teens love it
They get something totally unique – no one else at school will have the same pair.

Parent reality check
Brilliant for a special gift… but definitely not your everyday trainer budget.

Coco says “Koko’s art designs are very cool shoe patterns – basically you bring in shoes and they will put a design of your choice on it. It is such a good concept but it is very expensive if you are buying a branded shoe, for example, Nike. The main shoes they are used to working with are Nike and Converse.”

Pangaia (Soho)

What is it?
Sustainable fashion brand with a clean, minimal aesthetic.

Why teens love it
Simple, premium basics with eco credentials.

Parent reality check
You’re paying for both the hoodie and the philosophy.

Coco says “Pangaia sells very nice recycled hoodies which are good for the environment too but very VERY expensive.

Best Beauty Shops for Teens in London

Boots (Everywhere)

Old Boots Chemist sign spotted in Camden Town

What is it?
High street beauty, skincare and essentials all in one place.

Why teens love it
Makeup, skincare and viral products are all easy to find.

Parent reality check
“Just a few bits” rarely stays that way.

Millie says Boots had a great range of products but it was very busy so sometimes hard to find what you wanted. They did seem to be in stock in the majority of their products and you could try out most of the products with their testers.”

Lush

What is it?
Colourful, handmade cosmetics – bath bombs, skincare and strong scents.

Why teens love it
It’s fun, sensory and feels a bit like a treat shop.

Parent reality check
Small items, big total – it adds up fast.

Millie says Similarly to Boots, you could test out so many of the products in Lush so it was very fun to walk around this shop, even though I didn’t buy anything! Lush also sell various products that you usually don’t find in other cosmetic stores, such as their shower jelly soaps.”

Group of teens altogether having fun

Sephora (Westfield / coming UK-wide)

What is it?
Massive beauty retailer stocking all the viral brands in one place.

Why teens love it
It’s basically TikTok in shop form – Rare Beauty, Rhode, everything they’ve seen online.

Parent reality check
Very easy to go in for one thing… and come out with five.

Superdrug (Everywhere)

What is it?
Affordable beauty and skincare with loads of trending brands.

Why teens love it
Cheap, colourful and full of TikTok-famous products.

Parent reality check
Low prices = lots of “just one more thing” moments.

Space NK (Covent Garden / Soho / Various)

Feels more grown-up and “in the know”.

Parent reality check
This is where prices quietly jump up a level.

Why teens love it
It’s effortless, aesthetic and all over their feeds.

Parent reality check
Looks simple… but those small products add up quickly.

Snack Stops

Starbucks

Pink and Chocolate Frappicino’s! Courtesy of Starbucks

Global coffee chain known for highly customisable drinks and sweet treats.

Why teens love it
It’s as much about the vibe as the drink – and the options feel endless.

Parent reality check

Coco says “I love Starbucks. I can barely go one weekend without a pink drink or a cold chocolate! And in the I can’t resist a hot chocolate.

Why teens love it
A reliable hangout spot to regroup, recharge and scroll.

Parent reality check

Pan-n-Ice (Camden / Westfield)

What is it?
Rolled ice cream made fresh on cold plates with lots of toppings.

Why teens love it
It’s fun to watch, looks great on socials and feels like a treat.

Parent reality check
You’re paying as much for the spectacle as the dessert.

Coco says “Pan-n-Ice have made some of the best ice cream I have ever had. You can get pretty much any flavour you want but it is very popular which means there are usually long queues.”

Why teens love it
It’s different, fast and feels a bit cooler than standard fast food.

Parent reality check
Healthy-ish… but not especially cheap for what it is.

Coco says “Sushi Dog is my nine-year-old sister Willa’s favourite food shop. It is very delicious and also healthy to eat.”

Apple

Teens taking a group selfie with an I-Phone purchased from Apple

Apple stuff is cool – there’s no other word for it. And a trip to one of the many Apple Stores in London is always great to check out the latest tech, see your email, sneakily charge your phone and then leave without buying anything.

Coco says “I LOVE APPLE PRODUCTS and it is my favourite electronic store however it is definitley too expensive and overpriced for most people but it is kind of understandable as they make such high tech equiptment.

Slightly pricier than smaller vintage shops, but much easier to browse – and plenty of changing rooms (which helps).

The food hall alone makes it worth a visit (teenagers = constantly hungry), and there’s always something going on. Good if you want options for different budgets in one place.
