The first trailer for the Horrible Histories team’s new venture has been released. Bill tells the story of what really happened in the ‘lost years’ of William Shakespeare and looks hilarious

It was written by Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond who also appear in it alongside Simon Farnby, Martha Howe-Douglas and Jim Howick. And the talented cast will play more than 40 characters between them!
Also joining them is Helen McCrory (above) as Queen Elizabeth, and her husband and Homeland star Damian Lewis who will have an as yet undisclosed cameo.
The film is due to be released on 27th March but keep checking back for more news and info about the film.
We thought it had a hint of Monty Python’s Holy Grail about it, which is a very good thing, and the trailer had us in stitches but what do you think?
