Located at the Bellfry golf club in the Warwickshire, the Magical Journey attraction created by the flamboyant Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen was set to be exactly as the title suggested, a magical journey. The attraction promised to be a ‘spectacular and exciting Christmas experience for all the family.’
Unfortunately after only the first day visitors took to social media in droves to complain about the cheap unwrapped plastic toy presents and that the experience didn’t even last the allocated time. Queues to meet Father Christmas apparently lasted more than an hour.
If anything is going to ruin the Christmas spirit, it is disappointed children and complaining parents. The Christmas land will be closed until Wednesday while the organisers can improve the attraction. Hopefully Llewellyn-Bowen, star of the 90s hit TV show Changing Rooms is not out of practice with speedy redesigns and quick improvements. However, this might be a project that a few MDF shelves cannot fix.
