What was your favourite place to visit in London as a kid and why?

Madame Tussauds London KidRated Reviews by Kids and Family offers

“Are you okay there Your Majesty?” – Nina comforts the Queen at Madame Tussauds, an official K-Rated attraction

As a kid Madame Tussauds, because my dad would make me go and talk to people who always turned out to be waxworks. I always fell for it and I still think it’s hilarious.

Where in the UK would you recommend to another family?

Devon, where I grew up. There’s the sea, the countryside, lots of cream, several cows, and Dartmoor, which is like if the Moon was cool.

Where’s your favourite place to eat with your family?

Our family are very young so it’s the park cafe in Hastings, Eat @ The Park. The food is great, they do decent kids’ meals and you can wind up the dog by leaving him outside.

What would be your perfect day out with the family?

national space centreFood, walking, a nap, and then somewhere like a museum with space rockets. My wife Jenna likes nature so maybe we could see some animals.

So long as we went home on a miniature railway.

(We’d recommend the National Space Centre followed by Twycross Zoo then! -Ed)

The Park – Alexandra Park, Hastings.

The Beach – Hastings has miles of crunchy beaches.

The Aquarium – secrets of the deep!

Best place to catch a film?

The sofa.

Bus, tube or taxi?

Car or foot. Buggies don’t seem to like London very much.

Give us a tip or a London life-hack…

Walk as much as you can. It’s cheaper and you’re still faster than a car.
