The RSC has announced that on Sunday 14th June at 3pm there will be a second relaxed performance of one of the best kids’ musicals in London at the moment, Matilda the Musical.
Here at KidRated, we love relaxed performances because we think everyone should be able to enjoy all the great things on offer at London’s fantastic theatres so the fact that the RSC has announced another relaxed performance is wonderful news. You can read more about them in the blog KidRated CEO Simon wrote after watching a relaxed performance of another KidRated favourite, War Horse.
Last year’s relaxed performance got a K-Rating of 10 from Issy, whose brother Toby is autistic. If you have a child with autism or other disabilities and learning difficulties which makes going to a regular theatre showing more difficult, or know of anyone who does, it could not come more highly recommended!
We are always on the look out for accessible activities for all kids from museum visits to theatre and even ice skating. Keep checking the site for more details and if you know any we haven’t covered, please let us know.
