Juliet Cowan’s Best Days Out

Juliet Cowan is a well-known (and well-loved) British television, film and stage actress. As well as starring in many long-running shows such as East Enders, Silent Witness, Casualty and The Sarah Jane Adventures, Juliet has recently starred in BBC’s Everything I Know About Love and Back To Life (amongst many many other things).

When Juliet isn’t gracing our screens with her brilliance and wit, she is writing. In 2002, she wrote MUM, a play about love, loss and dementia, which was then directed by Yasmeen Arden and performed at The Playground Theatre. She will be back to the same venue this September, performing her hilarious one-woman show Fu*k Off and Leave Me Alone.

As a family, we love to eat at Fez Mengal in Ladbroke Grove.

Where in the UK would you recommend to another family?

If you are a family, go to Cheddar Gorge, it is incredible and the caves are amazing. My true happy place in the UK is Scilly Isles.

Name three places you love going with your kids.

Three places I love to visit with my kids are The Science Museum, Prince Charles Cinema and The Southbank (of course)!

Bus, tube, cycle, walk or taxi?

In London, I always walk or take the bus so I can really see the city.
